Spoken by a 60-something grandmotherly type at an after-Christmas ward Christmas party:

"I don't eat coconut. Tastes like tonsil scabs."

    Well, Mary dear, I hope it makes you feel better to know that it was YOUR ward party where the atrocity occured. Maybe I just won't tell you who it was and you can spend every Sunday glancing around in a paranoid sort of way...
